In the past, there are millions of smokers who have consciously tried to kick the habit. Moreover, throat muscles can also be weakened by the act of smoking and you will definitely snore more abruptly at night. If you absolutely hate wearing a chin strap when you are sleeping, do yourself a favor by reducing the number of puffs that you take. Now, health is just one of the big issues. Your self image will also be affected with your less than stellar yellowish teeth. Smokers will also find problems picking up a girl that they like. Again, this is related to self image because when you smoke a lot, you are telling the girl that you are less likely to be a healthy man and thus, this makes it a lot more difficult for you to find a lover.

I am not sure if you have hears about this or not but it is basically a small patch that injects nicotine directly into your blood. Your skin pores absorb the nicotine and distributes it to the blood stream, making your body think that it has already got its smoking fix for the day. In a sense, you get the thrill of smoking without the risk of damage to your heart, liver and lungs. Another alternative to this is the nicotine chewing gum. Eat that when you want to light a cigarette and it takes the urge away.

Acupuncture is another unconventional way to stop smoking. Get treated this way is not that easy because you will need to find chinese doctors who will provide you with genuine acupuncture treatment to help you break the smoking addiction. This treatment targets the lympathic organs. Its aim is to decrease the smoker’s natural drive to smoke. People who have used this treatment in the past describes it as effective because they do not feel like smoking anymore after that.

Do not wait for the perfect solution for it does not exist. You are much better off doing something today to break the smoking addiction. A penny saved on cigarette packs is worth two pennies in your wallet.
